The cutting edges on these knives are neither too “flat” (too difficult to trim to the sole’s concavity) nor too “curved” (too readily gouging the sole). The knives sport handsome Rosewood handles and super sharp blades made of the finest steel. These are superb quality professional knives that will enable you to do a first class natural trim quickly, efficiently, and safely.

The Gripmaster handle is slightly larger than the Ascot’s, and is contoured for a more stable grip. The streamlined Ascot fits a smaller hand well; otherwise, the blades are identical. A tough choice — so experiment with both. Choose between left and right-handed models. Sharpen these elegant beauties with the Swiss istor sharpener for the finest cutting edge possible.

Customers have been requesting a quality loop knife, and the Champion loop knife fits the bill perfectly. The blade is short and narrow -- the style preferred by most trimmers. The handle has the same basic shape as the Ascot, but is thicker. For trimmers that use both left and right handed knives, the loop knife does both -- eliminating the need for 2 knives. The same company which brought us the Evolutionary Tool Line (Radius Rasps, Contouring Bar & Sole Rasps, Hoof Buffers) is now offering a specially developed new hoof knife.

What makes this knife special? It may offer the sharpest hoof knife blade on the market today. It is extra thin for retaining a sharp edge and ease of sharpening. For those who are frustrated with knives which don't maintain a sharp edge, the Evo Zip knife is the answer!

Because the blade is very thin, the Zip knife may not last as long as other knives, but during the life of the knife you will find it faster to use and easier to sharpen.
